INSPIRATION

This oriental floral perfume features refined citrus notes. In fact, Petitgrain essential oil and Neroli essential oil are both extracted from the bitter orange plant. The first comes from the fruits at the end of the flowers, the second from the flowers. This combination not only highlights the fresh notes of vetiver and rose but, by contrasting the brown and bitter earthiness of nutmeg, emphasizes its presence. Guido Gozzano writes, "… I see imaginary and fabulous horizons like landscapes, the scattered calm where sailors exchanged spices and rare woods…". The oriental inspiration of this fragrance precisely outlines a woody, spicy, and bitter spring, with a simultaneous floral breeze—sweet from the first warmth and fresh in memory of winter coolness.
